The Shops of Assistance League are two stores -- Prime Time Treasures and Encore Upscale Thrift Store -- located within the headquarters of Assistance League of Birmingham, 1755 Oxmoor Road, Homewood.

PrimeTime Treasures is a unique gift shop in the heart of Homewood; known for it’s beautiful, hand-crafted furniture, baby items, art and much more. PrimeTime Treasures is a nonprofit shop administered and staffed by Assistance League members that sell products handmade exclusively by senior citizens of Alabama. Since opening its doors in 1977, PrimeTime Treasures has returned more than $3.8million to over 4,000 craftsmen.

Encore Upscale Thrift Shop features ladies clothes and accessories, household items, rugs and art at very low prices. An all-volunteer membership manages Encore to raise funds for the three philanthropic programs of Assistance League of Birmingham: PrimeTime Treasures, Operation School Bell^® and Operation Literacy.
