RECIPES FROM HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE!

Thank You

to all who came out and supported us at Holiday Open House!

It was a great success and we appreciate all of our customer support!

Be sure to check out our coupons and featured items at the bottom of this email!

Many people over the years have begged and begged for our secret recipes we use to feed our Holiday shoppers, and after much deliberation we have decided to share them!  If you came to open house this past year, you sampled the delicious Cheese Bake made with our Bronco Bob's Chipotle sauces - scroll to the bottom to purchase a bottle of this delicious sauce to use in your very own cheese bake!

Four Seasons' Apricot / Raspberry Chipotle Cheese Bake

1/2 Cup Mayonnaise

8oz. package cream cheese, softened

1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

2 green onions chopped

6 Ritz crackers, crushed

Topping

1/2 cup Raspberry (or Apricot) Chipotle sauce

8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

1 cup chopped pecans

Mix mayonnaise, cream cheese, cheddar cheese and chopped onions together, spread in a quiche pan.  Sprinkle on the crushed Ritz crackers and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.  Top with bacon and 1/2 cup of Raspberry or Apricot Chipotle sauce.  Serve with Wheat Thins.

And, just because we love our customers so much, we've included two additional recipes that we've used in past Holiday Open Houses - Enjoy!

Four Seasons' Sweet Dream Cookies

1.5 cups sugar

2/3 cup softened butter

2/3 cup shortening

1tsp vanilla

2 1/3 cups All Purpose Flour

1 tsp baking soda

dash of salt

1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans

1/4 cup shredded coconut

In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar, butter, shortening and vanilla with an electric beater until light and fluffy.  By hand stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt.  Stir in the nuts and coconut.

Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes, in 375 degree oven, check often until edges are just turning brown.  Cool for approximately 10 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack until cold.  May be frozen.

Four Seasons' Dinner Roll Sandwiches

3 packages of 24 Ready-to-Serve Rolls

1 package of thinly sliced ham

1 package thinly sliced Swiss Cheese

Freeze rolls, cut each section long ways.  Spread sauce on each long slice, put bottoms back in pan, top with thin ham and cheese, put on top.  You can cut before baking or after; pizza cutter recommended for cutting.  Bake at 250 for 20 minutes.

Sauce

1 stick butter

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons poppy seeds

2 tablespoons regular mustard

salt and pepper to taste

Melt butter, add other ingredients, mix well.

We hope you enjoy these tasty recipes!  Thank you for supporting Four Seasons and shopping locally this Holiday Season!
